Goodbye darkness my old friend
I will not welcome your embrace again

I welcome light into my soul
and climb out of this worldly hole
I step into the light of day
and I am now here to say

I let go of all conflict in my mind
and remember I am created as divine
I no longer do as others are told
and I break the past world’s hold

I now live by my inner voice
and always make the higher choice
now filled with compassion and with love
now living life guided from above

I make all choices for a better me
and pray the same for all humanity
with this inner strength all conflicts will cease
and each and every heart will be at peace

Fear ends and we know we have won
and every soul will feel as one
heaven will fall upon every girl and boy
and God will look upon us filled with joy
