I am thankful for the sky, grass, and the trees
And I am grateful for every breath of air that I breathe

I am thankful for the mountains, fields, and sand
And I am grateful for the rivers and oceans flowing over the land

I am thankful for birds riding on the breeze 
And I am grateful for the dolphins swimming in the seas
I am grateful for all of these

I am thankful for the sun, the moon, and the earth
And I am grateful for the stars that fill the entire universe
I am grateful for all of these
The Blessings I receive

I am thankful that I can stand, jump, and walk
And I am grateful that I can hear, see, and talk

I am thankful for my country and for democracy
And I am grateful to all those who serve and protect me

I am thankful for my education and degree
And I am grateful for the job I have and the money I receive

I am thankful for the happy car that I drive
And I am grateful for the beautiful home in which I reside
Not everybody has all of this

I am thankful for the people who care about and love me
And I am grateful for each friend, sibling and all my family
Not everybody has all of this
Thankfulness allows life to be filled with bliss

I am thankful to have been alive this long
And grateful for all those who have come and gone

I am thankful for today as much as yesterday
And I am grateful for every moment of my past 
Which brought me here at last
Only the path I have traveled
Filled with both joy and sorrow
Could have led me to who I am
And to know all the possibilities I can

I am grateful for all of these
The Blessings I receive
Not everybody has all of this
Thankfulness allows life to be filled with bliss

I am thankful to have the honor of loving all of you
and I am grateful for you loving me, too.
