Walk with me among the land with the birds and the trees
Walk with me along the waters, rivers, and seas
Walk with me atop the rocks, in the breeze
We were once a part of all of these
One with nature, with the animals, the clouds, and the leaves
And now we walk separate from all of these
Walk with me a while, in our own denial
Stepping on the Earth, instead of with her
Walk with me a while among the hate, killing, and rape
Walk with me a while among the deforestation and the devastation
Walk with me a while among the suffering and disease
Walk with me a while among the battered human race
and we will see how far we have fallen from grace
Walk with me a while and remember who you are
Walk with me a while and remember we’ve come so far
Walk with me remembering how things used to be
Walk with me among the confused and abused
and remind them about hope and peace
Walk with me among selfishness and greed
and remind them of love, grace, and ease
Walk with me into a world that has forgotten separation
and remind them of our original foundation
Walk with me into a world of unity
where there is no judgement on you and me
Walk there with me, and stay a while.
